Bulging Lumbar Disc With Urinary Urgency
Nerve impingement: If a disc herniation is severe enough, it can lead to neurologic issues because of nerve compressions. Therefore, a disc hernation can potentially lead to pain, change in bowel function, and change in bladder function - including urinary retention. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can sexual activities like ejaculation and orgasm cause worsening symptoms in patients with Spinal stenosis , Herniated disc , Bulging disc ?
Can herniated discs, stenosis t-spine with loosening hardware from fusion cause pain in buttocks, groin and lower legs with weakness?
Possibly: It seems like your fusion goes from the lower Tspine into the Lspine so yes there is a possibility that if the fusion has failed and/or if disc herniation are present this could cause many of your pain symptoms in buttock, groin area. The weakness seems to suggest a neurological process that could come from T or Lspine. Incontinence, spasticity, balance problems are other things to look out for. ...Read more

Growing numbness in groin and urine leakage, mild broadbased posterocentral disc bulge at l3,4,5. urodynamic result normal, ultrasound 130 cc post void?
Numbness, leakage: hello ~ I have just answered this question. You add in info of 130ml post void volume. At age 23yo this is a huge post void volume and can only be caused by obstruction or neuropathy. The neuropathy from spinal cord impingement should not cause retention. It causes incontinence. Your stories contradict each other and make me doubt the veracity. If this is real see a Urologist please and Neurologist ...Read more
Non-surgical?: If you are referring to non-surgical spinal decompression employed mostly by chiropractors, there is very little evidence showing its efficacy. It is a very costly treatment that uses traction to relieve pain caused by a disc herniation and nerve root compression. It has not shown to be any different then allowing time to allow inflammation to improve. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
