Need thorough exam : Pain radiating to the fingertips is not muscular from the neck solely. This needs to evaluated by a specialist ( orthopedist, neurologist, physiatrist , neurosurgeon or pain management) to rule out a radiculopathy v radiculitis. Comments: You need to have supervision from a rehab doc and you will benefit from a combination of physical therapy, massage, and acupuncture. Too soon to say if you have injured shoulder joint, brachial plexus, or sacroiliac joint, but all could occur from a MVA.
