I have notice blue veins in my neck right hand side is this normal?

I have notice blue veins in my neck right hand side is this normal?

Yes: Our veins carry blood that has had most of the oxygen removed from it -- that's why it looks blue. We often will notice something about our body that we haven't before -- that is normal. The best way to know if it is OK, is to see your doctor. If you're not worried, and no one else has noted, take a "selfie" of your neck, so you can watch for any change. If there is something, see your Dr. ...Read more

Why are blue veins mire visible in breasts feet and hands over last two weeks. Not pregnancy. On period now?

Normal finding: I am amazed about how often I have women ask me about the veins on their breast. Occasionally they are spider veins but mostly they are blue veins. They tend to be more pronounced in fair skinned females and they may be related to hereditary factors, levels of hydration and even temperature changes. ...Read more

Should i be concerned about the bright blue veins all over my chest, arms, and hands? They are flat. They are not painful. And I am not pregnant.

No.: Veins are blue because they carry blood back to the heart and this blood is lower in oxygen then arterial blood which is bright red. Veins will change in size due to many factors including genetics, aging, skin color and texture, levels of hydration and even outside temperature. You should not worry about these veins. ...Read more
