Here are some....: Clinically, you likely suffer from some disorders of local muscles, joints, or nerves which, at their stage, can not be detected by any imaginable studies although possibly well serving high demand of political correctness for reassurance & commercialism for money. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome, I feel my hip pop out and see a bulge on the anterior side when it does. Is this a subluxation?

Loose joints: While patients with Ehlers Danlos syndrome tend to have loose joints, dislocating or subluxating the hip to a noticeable degree is very unlikely. The hip is a deep ball and socket joint that is highly contained and is surrounded by thick muscles. What you are feeling "pop out" anterioy is the psoas (hip flexor) tendon that is positioned over the front of the hip joint itself ...Read more

My doctor has told me I have a bulging disk in my neck and lower back. The pain has now spread around to my hip. Is this normal? Been on gabapentin.

Back and hip.: Bulging disks in the low back can certainly cause hip pain. Discs however in the neck do not. It is very common for pain to start in the back and slowly progress and start to radiate along the path of the nerve which can be in fact in the hip area. Gabapentin tends to work best for burning or searing pain however dull achy toothache like discomfort rarely responds to that medication. ...Read more

I have a bulging disc in my lower back causing pain from hip to knee. I had a cortizone (hydrocortisone) injection in my hip a week ago now lower lip keeps twitching?

Unlikely related: Cortisone shots can cause minor twitching to the area they're injected & even regional jerks depending on how much & where injected. However, I very much doubt that any shot of cortisone in your hip for pain to your knee could trigger your lower lip to twitch. I believe that's a benign finding of some sort which will resolve.
