Bug Bites That Don T Itch Or Hurt
I've been getting small bug bites that are red but don't itch, hurt, create a bump & go away the next day. Could they be by fleas or seasonal bugs?

Topical cortisone: Try to apply 1% Hydrocortisone cream to the bite site 4x daily for a few days. Covering the area after cortisone application with a bandaid may increase the penetration of cortisone to the skin. Lots of bugs: Most insect bites cause local inflammatory reactions like itching and welts that are mild and resolve within a few hours without complications. Of course bee stings and cause more severe local and systemic reactions if you are allergic but any biting bug could cause a localized response. Mosquito bites are common culprits.
