Some thoughts...: There can be many reasons for the rash you describe, but i'd first look for any new medications started in the past month, i.E allergic reaction. Also, are you having fever, muscle aches, fatigue? You could be having some sort of infection. Remedy & cause for recurring boil/pustule on top center region between hips. Happens almost every month, lasts for 4 days then bursts. Too painful.

Tender bump: This may have originally been an insect bite or an inclusion cyst, but it now is inflamed or irritated enough to be tender. Is there associated redness which would raise the possibility of infection?
