Hi. Friend has weird habits like snapping fingers for no reason, wearing a neck brace but no injury also said he heard voices in mind before. Ideas?
Not definite, but...: Snapping fingers can be a nervous habit, and normal. Wearing an unneeded neck brace seems odd, possibly delusional. Truly hearing voices is an auditory hallucination. In fact this CAN be a normal part of grief or separation, such as "hearing" your dead grandmother. Unfamiliar voices making assertions is common in psychotic disorders- depression and schizophrenia. It's possible he needs help. ...Read more

Bruising takes time: It's normal for a bruise to last that long. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your body or that anything serious is going on. I am 32 y/o Black, very fair-skinned female and I often get bruises on mylegs for no reason. They last for weeks. Is there anyway to get rid of them?
You are taking the wrong approach. I am not worried about the brusing but the cause. You want to know why this is happening and not worry about getting rid of them. You need to see your PCP and consider to see a hematologist. IN the meantime how much aspirin or advil (ibuprofen) are you taking.? The cause not the bruise are the most important.
Best wishes. ...Read more
