Probably not.: Without a physical exam, it's difficult to know the severity of your injury, but if it only hurts a bit when you walk, you probably only have a mild atfl sprain and mild calf sprain. If it's a new injury (<72 hrs), then follow the rice protocol (google it) and limit activities which cause increased pain. I have bruising on my sternum mostly left side costochondral joints where i had a deep lipoma removed. bruising came after 24 mo later after adjustment. Bruise has not left in over 12 mo. cause?
