See below: Sounds like you have coccydynia or 'tailbone pain'. This can occur with trauma to the tail bone, abnormally positioned coccyx, or poor sitting posture. Try using a good lumbar support to help shift your pelvis forward. This will put the pressure on your ischium. Sounds like a bru --: Ised elbow, as the xrays were negative. Protect the elbow, for a 10-14 days and if its only a bruised, it'll get better. If not improving or getting worse, get a another xray as in some cases initial xray may not show a fx, which was present. So protecting it for 2 weeks and re-xraying it would be the way to go. Yes, and no...: I don't know the mechanism of your particular soccer injury, but you can certainly injure the coccyx or tailbone playing any sport, especially if you fall directly onto it. The only definitive way to say if the coccyx is actually broken is to x-ray it or perform some other radiography such as ct/mri. ...Read more

If U hit the point-: -of the elbow there is a bursa & it often fills with blood or fluid, & can swell quite a lot. If U have a scrape or skin violated it can become infected. Early Rx is best. C an orthopedist 4 eval sometimes aspiration is done and steroids injected. This is extraarticular so no steroid enters the joint.
