I have a very swollen ankle and calf it's very tender to the touch and it gets like this if i stand or walk could it be a blood clot in my ankle?
My uric acid is 7.71 mg i play soccer and had many ankle injuries. i woke up with a swollen ankle with pain. this has happened couple of times?

RICE: The best thing is rest, ice elevation and compression with Ibuprofen 200-400 mg every 6 hours. Bruising is normal. Get an over the counter supportive brace (not a slip on) and wear that for a few weeks to protect it. 2-3 weeks after injury is a critical period it needs to be protected because it doesn't hurt and you are more likely to re-sprain it.
