Bruised Muscle In Arm
My arm was overextended and I heard a small pop sound. No swell or bruise, but when I move it fast some pain & the muscles seem to slide over the arm?
Possibly a strained: Tendon or sprained ligament. If d range of motion is ok I won't worry too much about it. Follow up with your doctor for any concern. You can apply ice packs for first two days then one packs. You can take over the counter nsaids for pain. Take care and god bless u! http://orthoinfo. Aaos. Org/topic. Cfm? Topic=a00111. My thighs and both arms in the exact place hurts only when I touch or rub them. Feels like the deep muscles are bruised. What could this be?
Myalgia: You're describing a symmetrical myalgia. Viral infections (most notably the flu) can cause this. Some drugs, most notably, statins can do it. Rare diseases (collagen vascular type) can cause it. Try a simple remedy like advil or aleve (naproxen). If it doesn't resolve or keeps coming back, you'll need some testing done. Read more

I'm taking amox/k clav 875-125 and now my right arm muscle is sore and starting to bruise I don't recall any injury to my arm could it be from the med?
Possibly: Possibly, but not likely. It is a reported side effect in <1% of all patients. It is more common in meds with Aspirin or nsaids (ibuprofen, naproxen) as an ingredient. It may also be related to the reason you are taking the antibiotic. If it continues or gets worse, see your doctor. Read more
It feels like a bruise in my biceps muscle underneath my arm halfway between the armpit and elbow. When I press it, it feels like a small lump.
NO history is available but this may be a bruise of sorts.
There may be a small vessel rupture and could have created a small lump called a hematoma. Have you looked to see if it appears bruised?
Also what have you been doing? Have you been playing hard or roughhousing. See your doc and see if he can help you with this. Read more

Is it normal for my arm to hurt a week after donating blood? Feels like a muscle ache in AC area and is still bruised pretty badly
Unusual, But: Not unheard of especially considering the bruising you describe. You might want to call the donation center to let them know as well as ask their advise. Usually the ache will go away when the bruising does and that may take a couple of weeks. Oh and thank you for donating blood since it helps save lives and some people are unable to give blood because of their health or other concerns. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

23 years old. I have O negative blood. I have noticed unexplained bruising on my arms, it disappears then I have notice major bruising on Calf muscle?
Abnormal bruising: I don't believe this has anything to do with your blood type. Small bruises are common and usually don't indicate a problem. Large bruises (say tennis-ball width or larger) without trauma often indicate a clotting problem. The only way to know for sure is to see a healthcare provider and get some blood tests. No best way?: I guess there is no "best" way. Use common sense. Heat some water not to the point of burning the skin. Get a small towel or large gauze get it wet with the warm water and apply it over the diseased area. If that cools too fast warm it up more. If you have a heating pad just wrap it with some sort of cloth or linen so you don't apply the plastic of it directly over the skin. Avoid ointments under. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked. Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back. Try to avoid skin products that are oily. I would also stay away from transfats and bad oils, which is good for overall health. See doc to see if this is what you have. Peace & good health.. Read more
