Pain upper RT abdomen under rib, Nml labs, nml abdom U/S, nml upper GI endoscopy. Will sched HIDA.. Is colonoscopy warranted? Can constipation cause?
Alternating constipation and diarriah flat stool , upper abdom tenderness. No gb. Upper gi, ct, bloodwork normal. Waiting colonoscopy. I am in agony !

May still be apendix: Pain in RLQ concerning for appendicitis, ectopic pregnancy & ovarian torsion. A simple pregnancy test rules out ectopic. CT us usually the tool for appendicitis. Did they use oral and IC contrast? (Oral is chalky stuff you drink, IV makes you feel hot all over). If contrast given, appendicitis less likely.. UTI probably: Extensive work up is reassuring. Yes chronic cystitis and urinary tract infection could cause low to mid back pain especially if there is an extension causing kidney infection. Severe constipation : Can cause all those discomfort. Be very aggressive with regulating your bowel habits. Drink 6-8 16ozs bottled water every day , lots of fruits,veggies,fibers etc , you may start off with dulcolax tablets them maintain yourself w Metamucil - just follow instructions .
