Bruise: You don't remember bumping into something? A large bruise without trauma is unlikely. The knot you feel is probably a blood clot under the skin that will dissipate on its own. The medications you listed should not cause your bruise. It will look worse before it looks better. If you think it was indeed spontaneous, you should really have your doctor check a CBC on you. ...Read more

Bruising: Bruising very easy at your age is not very common but can happen for many reasons including vitamin deficiency ie. Calcium, vitamin k etc. Low platelet count or coagulation factor deficit can cause easy bruising and are secondary to genetic disorders or liver disease. You will need further work up to make diagnosis. The lump under is still coagulated blood or hematoma which will reabsorb also. ...Read more
