Unlikely: Fat necrosis is one of the common causes of a nodule in the skin after trauma. Cancer usually does not develop within weeks, so that seems unlikely. Was it possible there was lump there before, and you only notice it now after the injury? Without an age, there are some other possibilities that could be seen: gout, arthritis, etc. ...Read more

Get that checked out: This sounds like a thrombosed (clotted) vein in your hand. The Aspirin may have helped to dissolve the clot. This could happen for several reasons. It also could be something else. I would get this checked out just be cautious. ...Read more

Not neuropathy: neuropathy would cause numbness and weakness if you bruises a nerve. You probably bruise where you hit your arm. If you did not elevate your arm the swelling went down hill to your wrist. ...Read more
