Explain it again: Knots in the middle back are quite common and may be due to muscular spasm, sprain, poor posture, and other causes. It is common to see minor bruises in this age group especially in areas that receive trauma related to play such as the extremities and even over the spine. Unrelated to tap: spinal tap 1 year ago can cause a bruise now. If bruise was not caused by a known injury then it may be an underlying blood disease that needs to be investigated by a hematologist. some times steroids or Aspirin or anti platelet medications can do so. ...Read more
