Hemangioma?: You don't say how old your daughter is. If she is an infant, she may be developing one of the many types of hemangiomas, which are collections of blood vessels under the skin. Observation: 2 yr old with "bruises down spine". It is common to see minor bruises in this age group especially in areas that receive trauma related to play such as the extremities and even over the spine. Unrelated to tap: spinal tap 1 year ago can cause a bruise now.
