I recently was admitted to hospital , xray showed pneumonia, now diagnosis is west nile, no explination for xray. Would west nile show in xray?
Difficult: There have been very few cases of culturally proven west nile pneumonia, but this is a systemic viral infection which has the possibility of infecting lung tissues. Very unlikely: It sounds as if you are worried about lyme disease. Deer ticks are potential carriers of lyme disease, human anaplasmosis and babesiosis.
