Please help. White thing in anus. It hurts so and burns and itches. Could it be colon cancer? What do you think it is?

Need physcial exam: If you're having this much pain and discomfort, you really need this examined in person. From your description, this is most likely an anal condyloma (genital wart). Dr. Said I have an inflamed anus either because of internal hemmrhoid or fissure. Says not to worry. No family history of colon cancer I am 42.

Get treatment: Whether it is hemorrhoids or anal fissure, you should get it treated. Without family history of early age colon cancer, you do not need to worry about that. Worried at 41 have colon cancer cause of streak of blood on stool only when I squeeze and not everyday. Dr. Checked anus said I was inflamed in my anu?

Family history?: Hard stool may cause streaking with blood. Take fiber laxative and drink plenty of water to avoid hard stools. Unless a close relative of yours had colon cancer before the age of 50, I would not be too concerned about colon cancer. When you turn 50 that would be time to get a colonoscopy. ...Read more
