Hi. I have these light brown vaginal discharge accompanied by foul smell and cramps no itching or other things just that. Please help me.
Period was late but finally came for a day and half. Brown vaginal discharge with no smell for a week. Hpt negative. Any ideas?
Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test. There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.
I often have brown vaginal discharge especially mid cycle, and some pain. What can be cause? It also doesn't smell great
Fails "sniff" test: Obviously, the discharge fails the "sniff" test and odors are often noted with vaginal or pelvic infections. See a GYN MD soon to be assessed for the same.
I have brown vaginal discharge for 3days now. Its already 1week after my menstration ended. It has no smell, no pain, no itch. Do I need to get worry?
Probably old blood: Brown equals old blood left over from your period. It is typical to have an "off" period every now and then. This usually corrects itself over the next few cycles. If it continues see your doctor to discuss cycle regulation. Birth control is very effective at regulating the cycle and preventing pregnancy.
Discharge: Unfortunately, neither the color, nor the smell of the discharge is diagnostic of any disorder. It needs to be tested to know what it may be.
Normal cycle: I would advise a warm water douche and figure that this is old mentrual blood. If it persists beyond 1 week, see your GYN.
I have brown vaginal discharge, I had itching an burning sensation but that has gone now an I have just brown discharge. It doesn't smell?
See doctor. STD?: Any new or unexplained vaginal discharge needs medical evaluation. At your age (19) and assuming you are sexually active, for this kind of discharge I would be most concerned about an STD, especially chlamydia, gonorrhea, or maybe trichomonas. Itching/burning could be herpes. See your GP or gynecologist, or for guaranteed expert care, perhaps your local NHS GUM clinic. Good luck!
4days brown vaginal discharge now light pink. My menstration ended a week ago before brown discharge. No itch/smell. I got high esr in my blood result.?
Tan / brown vaginal discharge only when wiping in bathroom, faint iron smell but no other symptoms? Want to avoid doctor visit at all cost!
Blood has iron.: Hemoglobin has iron in it, which explains the smell. Having a menstrual cycle or spotting can cause the tan brown discharge. If it burns when voiding, it could suggest a urinary tract infection. Go see the doctor if you are having cramping, burning when voiding, or low back pain. See a doctor if you are having sexual activity as other causes like STDs are possible.See 1 more doctor answer
I have pcos with one cyst being 5cm. I am currently experiencing brown vaginal discharge daily and an old blood smell. Could these be related?
PCOS: PCOS certainly causes anovulation which be associated with irregular vaginal bleeding, heavy vaginal bleeding and difficulty getting pregnant. Your current symptoms are related. My advise is to see your gynecologist for proper evaluation and determine the course of treatment that is personalized to your specific need.
I have brown vaginal discharge, very itchy but no smell. My bf just had std test and its all negative. What is my problem? Pls help me thank u
Vaginitis: Usual causes of vaginitis are yeast (candida or monilia), bacteria, or trichomonas. None of these will show up on usual STD tests (tests for gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV and syphilis). You can try OTC yeast treatment but if not better see your doctor for additional evaluation. If it is trichomonas, that is something transmitted from/to a sexual partner, who would need treatment too.
Sounds normal!: During periods, we shed the inner lining of the uterus -- the endometrium -- if we're not pregnant. Sometimes that shed layer may not come out for a day or two & can turn brown. So can be normal; why it changed, I can't say. If you are having low pelvic pain, the discharge is unusually foul smelling, or your have a fever, though, it could be an infection -- then see an ob/gyn! Good luck!
Get checked: Browninsh discharge suggests old bleed. You need to see your GYN to figure out what's going on.
Normal periods: Otherwise? Could you be pregnant? You might want to check a pregnancy test just in case. If not pregnant you should check with your doector to find out why you are continuously spotting.
Get checked: You need to get checked by your GYN to see if there is an infection.
Light Bleeding: Rest assured that in the early weeks of pregnancy, a little spotting or bleeding is very common. The most common cause for experiencing a brown discharge during pregnancy, especially in the later half of the first trimester, is that the body is getting rid of the older blood remnants in the cervix. As the baby grows, the original blood which is used to protect the womb is no longer required.
