Clear stringy discharge with brown blood 2&4 days before period on properly taken bc pill. Mild cramps, 2 negative pregnancy tests. Normal?
Likely: If you take the pill consistently, it is likely a normal matter. Pregnancy test was done too early and a negative result before a missed period is not meaningful. God forbid, you miss your period by 4-5 days, then to a pregnancy test, use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully.
I'm on a 3 month cycle birth control pill. Almost done my second 3 month pack. 1 week before period due with brown stringy jelly like discharge?
Normal: Sometimes there is a little endometrial tissue that just needs to clear out. We manipulate our normal cycles with hormones (i.e. birth control pills), it is nature saying "I am still in charge". ;) In other words, normal as long as not persistent.
Five days before period had dark stringy discharge. Light brown discharge when wipe. On birth control. Just had bacterial infect. Treated. Rephresh pil?
Brown = old blood: Breakthrough bleeding (bleeding at the wrong time) is very common on birth control. It happens in about 1/3 of users. Its no big deal and usually self corrects over time. If you are not satisfied or it continues to happen then consider using a different birth control method. It is a common side effect and does not mean something is wrong or that the pill is not working. Rephresh is fine to use
Might be some: Break through bleeding related to imbalance of hormones. If not a pattern - not to worry.
Maybe normal: Small amounts of blood can make its way out as a brownish discharge. Mixed with normal discharge from the cervix might appear as you describe. If this is completely abnormal for you, then see your doctor to rule out infection!
Normal: Period related discharge can take on many different appearances depending on the amount of mucus that is being secreted from your cervix around the time of menses. as long as the discharge is not excessive, malodorous, or causing any itching, or pain, it can be normal. Keep watch and consult if getting worse.
No: Not "normal", but not necessarily anything serious. If persists, should see gyn.

Maybe: In patients who have uterine fibroids, their brown discharge is characteristic of their condition. If the brown discharge occurs every period for you and you do not have fibroids then it is normal as it represents endometrial breakdown products and old blood.
