Why is there a clear-ish jelly-like substance coming out of my anus? It just started two days ago and there is no blood and no pain.
See MD if repeated: Many entities can cause - commonly constipation (mucous flow around blockage), but also others like infection, inflammation, gut food allergies, tumors. Inflammation?: This suggests inflammation of the lining of the rectum. Fecal impaction: You may well have a very large ball of stool (poo) 'stuck' in your rectum that can't work it's way out. Then, loose stool can leak it's way around. A suppository may be worth trying to see if the impacted stool can come out. You may need to see a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment.
