No.: Any bleeding after menopause needs to be evaluated. Postmenopausal bleeding can be an early sign of uterine cancer. It is not likely that it is cancer but the only way to be sure is to see your doctor. Typically you will have a pelvic ultrasound and maybe a biopsy of the inside of the uterus.
