I am 37 weeks pregnant, last night and throughout the night I ended up having brown, watery discharge. Stopped now. Should I just ignore?

No.: You are close to term, so this is no time to ignore anything. Having said that, the main concerns would be cramps, pain, contractions, bloody or tissue discharge, not feeling the baby move, etc. My sense is that this is not serious, but you should contact your ob/gyn and not ignore it.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

37 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days now I've been having alittle of brownish/pinkish discharge? What could this be?

Hi: It may be nothing but I would let your Ob know. If your placenta is close to the opening of the uterus this could cause some bleeding. He would know this from one of your ultrasounds. If so this could be of concern. Otherwise if you have a fever and pain you also need to call them.

At What Interest???: A little blood is the price you pay now and then--and as the blood ages in there, it'll get darker. As long as it clears-up in a day or two, no prob, but if it persists or increases or causes pain or smells bad then get someone to take a look and make sure the price you paid was at a market rate and not a down-payment on something worse, like a small laceration or an infection. Spotting.: Spotting or bleeding during pregnancy is one of those things that most obs want to know about. It could be harmless spotting, but you definitely need to let your OB know about this asap.

Lower tummy and back pain during 37 weeks pregnancy. Labor?

Lower tummy and back pain during 37 weeks pregnancy. Labor?

Braxton hicks: Most likely they are practice contractions. I used to get them every time I stood up from a sitting position. Baby starts to move lower and reposition for labor which puts pain on your back. Good luck and congrats!

Significance of low co2 (17mEq/l) and high anion gap (19mEq/l) in late (37 weeks) pregnancy? All other tests in metabolic panel within normal limits.

Significance of low co2 (17mEq/l) and high anion gap (19mEq/l) in late (37 weeks) pregnancy? All other tests in metabolic panel within normal limits.

Reason for checking: I suppose the answer would vary depending on why it was checked. If there were certain symptoms or problems then the tests need to be analyzed in that context. Simply looking at only these numbers with no context they do not appear particularly abnormal for the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. The doctor who ordered them will be in the best position to interpret them.

Due to gall stones in neck position 9mm size with 37 weeks pregnancy. How to reduce sgot sgpt levels to perform cesarean as billirubin is ok?

Quoting merck: "Gallstones appear to be more common during pregnancy. Pregnant women who develop gallstones are closely monitored. If a gallstone blocks the gallbladder or causes an infection, surgery may be necessary. This surgery is usually safe for pregnant women and the fetus." http://www. Merckmanuals. I'm 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I have a jelly thick yellow discharge its usually at the top of my panties?

Normal: It is normal to have a lot more vaginal discharge as you get toward the end of pregnancy. This comes from the cervix. Some people will notice a clump of mucus called the mucus plug.

See your doctor: You are losing yourmucous plug as you are dilating. Nothing to worry about unless you are concerned that you have ruptured your membranes. See you doctor to get evaluated.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and losing yellow jelly discharge is it normal?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and losing yellow jelly discharge is it normal?

Mucous Show: Yes it's normal & expected once your cervix starts thinning (effacement) and softening. It's one of the early signs that your uterus is getting ready for labor. Call your OB if it's watery, green colored, or if you have frank bleeding like a period (blood streaked mucous is ok). Congrats on your upcoming delivery. Take care.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I'm currently leaking a clear/white discharge with a little blood in it what is this?

Discharge: Is the discharge watery? Are you staying wet? At this stage in your gestation it is always best to know if your water broke. Anybody can guess but you need to be seen and evaluated to know for sure.
