Need ua c&s: You need to have a urine analysis with culture and sensitivity. Also, pelvic ultrasound. Did you ever have abdominal or pelvic surgery. If so, your at risk for other problems. Well then once you have identified the causative organism, you can begin treatment. I am not sure you would benefit from bladder training. Dr didn't retest for uti. Have had for 3 weeks. Pain in groin, back, muscles, and joints. Also have brown discharge and flakes in bowl. On mirena (levonorgestrel)?
You should definitely get retested. Not knowing your situation, I would also suggest testing for STD's, as they can cause brown discharge as well. Finally, testing for pregnancy could be of use. As far as brown discharge from vagina. It stopped with taking septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). I have a uti, could the brown discharge clearing mean, the septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) is working.
Possible: Septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) is not usually used for vaginal infections. It is frequently used for bladder infections. One of the more frequent causes of bladder infections is the e. Coli bacteria from the rectum. May be: It depends on what u r using for protection how likely pregnancy is if u r late for your period and having a brown discharge. The brown discharge may be your period on some contraceptives. If in doubt, check a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Probably Unrelated: During periods, we shed the inner lining of the uterus -- the endometrium -- if we're not pregnant. Sometimes that shed layer may not come out for a day or two & can turn brown. So can be normal; why it changed, I can't say. Likely not UTI: Kourtney, dark brown vaginal discharge would not be a common sign of a UTI. Classic UTI symptoms would be burning with peeing, peeing frequently, or increased urgency.
