May be nothing : You may simply have some retained blood from her C-section or some recent menstrual cycles. Nonetheless, I would recommend that you have an examination just to be sure everything is OK and that you don't have some sort of bacterial issue. ...Read more

Kind off, but!!!: the best thing you do ,is to talk to the GYN that did your surgery,to make sure. if there is no fever you will be OK. i will be concerned about infection in the uterus,so be careful, such infection, could be lethal,or you could end up losing your uterus. i am not trying to scare you,or alarm you,but i want you to know, this situation could be serious. so talk to your surgeon. good luck. ...Read more

I'm a healthy 29y/o that had tubal immediately after 3rd c-section on 2/24/15. Am having brown discharge for two days and period isn't due for a week?

Periods after baby: Tubal ligations do not affect periods. Sometimes periods take a while to get back to normal the first few months after having a baby. Cesarean: This is hard to answer. Depends on your exam, symptoms, medical history, and the reason for your cesarean. You should discuss with your ob. Brown discharge is not uncommon, but you should discuss your symptoms with your md to make sure you don't have an infection, retained placental fragments, or other issues which need to be addressed. ...Read more

I had csection 4months ago.now brown discharge often coming in normal days.no smell or pain.periods are normal. What is it.

Old blood: I worry that it could be retained parts of your placenta. Usually brown discharge is just old blood that is just now being expelled. It's possible, since you're having normal periods now, that it's just left over blood from your periods which isn't terribly unusual, but you might want to get checked out by your ob/gyn to be safe. ...Read more

I recently had a c-section and I am now experiencing brownish/bloody smelly discharge and also not feeling well do u know what this can be?

Possible: It is not unusual to bleed for several weeks after a c-section and the odor issue can be subjective. "feeling bad" is not very specific but i would suggest seeing your doc; it could be an infection of the uterus or even the great if you are breast feeding. It's uncommon to have a uterine infection after c-section remote from the procedure, check your temp but discharge and some bleeding not unus. ...Read more
