Positive line: When you state a “faint positive line” are you referring to a pregnancy test? If so then it is important to see a doctor for pregnancy confirmation. Bleeding during pregnancy is very common but never normal and requires an evaluation to make sure all is normal.

Brown d/c: Brown d/c is a sign of old blood. Could be from rough sex, from cervix, or vagina or implantation. You need a preg test 5 days after lmp.

Sounds normal: It sounds like you are still having regular cyclic monthly periods. This would be normal. Brown just means old blood. It turns brown when it has been sitting at the back of the vagina. Birth control would help regulate your cycles.

Brown discharge 2-3 days before early period then blood for 4 days then brown discharge again. Period or implantation?

Sounds like a period: Having 4 days of vaginal bleeding, beginning around the time of an expected menstrual cycle, sounds like a menstrual period. If the next menstrual period doesn't happen as it should, then one can check a urine pregnancy test a week after missing that period.

My period was three weeks ago. Three days ago I started having brown discharge. What's going on??

Spotting?: As long as discharge is light and goes away eventually, this is ok. If it persists, see an OB to evaluate

My period finished three weeks ago a few days later I got a brown discharge and I still have it now?

Can Be Normal: This is common and can simply be old blood that hasn't been released yet. Birth control pills, especially if recently started, can also contribute to irregular shedding or brownish thickened discharge. Continue your pills as directed (if on them) & otherwise just track your cycle. If it worsens or bothers you, see your gyn or primary care physician for help. Take care.

I'm having a brownish to dark brown discharge for almost three days now. I had my period last feb. 8 then ended last feb. 15. I'm on pills. Help.

If symptoms see MD: This could be just a hormonal fluctuation causing a bit of irregular bleeding. Small amounts of blood that is in the vagina for a while can look brown. However, it could also besomething more serious. If you think you are pregnant or if you are having any other symptoms like itching, discharge or pain I would definitely suggest a trip to get a healthcare provider evaluation right away.

Maybe: These type of menses can occur in early pregancy, but more commonly indicate an anovulatory or abnormal hormone balance cycle. If this is from pregnancy, a home pregnancy test should turn positive in the next 10-14 days
