Pregnancy: my feeling is it is always appropriate to call your OB when you have a new colored discharge early in pregnancy. This is likely nothing to be concerned about, likely old blood from recent intercourse. But I would want to know with my OB patients, mostly because it makes you feel better and what if it was something important and you just blew it off cause you don't know?
