Use pain relief med : Depending on how long the problem has been there and having just been seen, I would make her comfortable with medicines like Tylenol, (acetaminophen) esp at bedtime. If her cough worsens or if fever returns you should have her re- examined. Appears viral for now. Normal saline nose drops may help cough as well as stuffy nose. It happens: At that weight the amount shouldn't hurt him.It may well show some side effects.Since it is a combination med it migght make him hyper or groggy depending on his sensitivity to the components. I find little value in these products and don't use them under the age of 6.
