2 questions. I've been having these fluttering spasms under my right breast bone (rib cage area) not painful, just obnoxious... I'm also about 6 weeks pregnant, could this be some crazy symptom? Lastly, I was spotting a little yesterday it was brownish
I agree,: The fluttering sensations are probably just a crazy symptom, the spotting could come from implantation, although I typically see that around 8 - 9 weeks of gestation. You may want to refrain from heavy physical stress until the spotting has subsided.
Diagnosed with GERD, have tender abdomen from belly button to breast bone & painful, cramp like symptoms when bending or leaning over. GERD related?
These are a few of my symptoms for the last 3 months, body rash including itchy skin, tachycardia, afib, flushed hot feeling running through blood, muscle aches, diarrhea and tenderness below breast bone. What could it be?
Too many to ananlyze: When a wide range of symptoms, affecting more than one body area occur, endocrine or neurological issues come to mind. I would recommend an internist or an endocrinologist evaluation.See 2 more doctor answers
Get pain under my breast bone on the left side it is sharp that last between s few seconds and a few minutes?
Sharp pains under: The sternum or breast bone can be from many different things, but more importantly they need to go away and not bother you. If they don't, then you need to get some help from a healthcare provider. At your age the most common cause for sharp pains is costochondritis which is an inflammation in the cartilage connecting the ribs to the sternum. No one knows the cause. But you can also have othe

Severe pain?: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes.
Breast "bone"?: The breast is made up of soft tissue which includes glands and fat. The sternum is the bone in the center of your chest which connects the ribs. An "enlarged" sternum can cause the chest cavity to "stick out".
Tell us more: You have to be more specific, as weird feeling, does not tell us if it is pain, discomfort or pressure that bothers. You. If this feeling persists or gets worse, you can get your doctor to examine you and find out if there is anything serious going on inside. All it takes is a chest X-ray (simple test) or a CT scan of the chest to assure you of the cause which may/not be anything serious.
When I press firmly on my breast bone like the sternum between my breasts it hurts. Is that normal?
Bone pain: It is a very superficial bone with no muscle overlying it. It is normal for it to be tender if you push hard enough. If you feel that the pain is out of proportion to the amount of pressure you are applying then you should get an x-ray and your doctor may also feel a CT scan and MRI are also necessary.
