A heavy bowl fell on my big toe, my toe nail is blue n green and throbbing, have I broke my toe?

No: Unless the injury is very severe the more common cause would be subungual hematoma. That is blood under the nail plate and is very painful. Go to an urgent care center or emergency room. The doctor can use electro cautery to make holes in the nail plate and express the blood out giving immediate relief. ...Read more

The : The only treatment that I am aware of involves a surgery where your nail bed is reconstructed by surgically grafting parts from other fingers or toes nail beds. Honestly, I do not know a lot about this procedure but i wanted to inform you there is a possible way to fix the nail. You should consult a podiatrist for a consultation and to discuss all your options. Best of luck. ...Read more
