Labs are reliable: You can trust them. If your T4, T3 (liothyronine) and TSH are in the reference range, look for some other cause of your symptoms. You'd be doing yourself a disservice to self-diagnose hypothyroidism in the fact of normal labs. ...Read more

Ask treatment team: It sounds as though your daughter is experiencing a significant & serious eating disorder. Based on that, 4 weeks out of the hospital is not a very long time. Excessive exercise is often a part of the disordered eating behavior, so it is important to be very careful about re-introducing exercise.
