My daughter has a spider bite on her hand. My question is, do I ice it or heat it to get the swelling down?Ice makes more sense but i read to do both.
Cold early heat late: Cool compresses will deminish swelling and pain & can be continued off & on for a couple days as needed. Later, application of moist heat can bring increased blood flow to the area to healp the healing process.
