Bright Red Spots On Lower Legs
I have developed bright red spots on my lower leg after helping my parents in their yard. I am 41 & never seen this b4. What could it b?
?? poison ivy: Some people are more sensitive or resistant to poison ivy than others, and it is common for people who had hardly any reactivity when younger to the plant (literally rubbing themselves with poison ivy-- don't try this btw- causes no reaction) to begin to get some sensitivity when older. 40 is an age when this can happen. Some possibilities..: Rashes are difficult to describe in words. A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can examine a red spots rash to see what it might be. My lower legs are swollen and itchy. I also have some red spots where it is swollen. They sweep up more during the day and go down at night time.
I have a rash on both lower legs, no itching, no pain, slightly raised. Red spots, noticed on 9/04/2014, starting peeling about a week after that.
There are many:
first your age, second recent history of fever, illness, any history of contact with allergens, and of course see what the rash actually looks like. My suggestion is that if your rash does not clear in 2 weeks I would see a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. Could be normal: It is hard to thy to diagnose skin problems without being able to look at your spots. If you were in an area where there mosquitoes then you could have been bitten by mosquitoes or other insects. Be sure to have it checked if it persists.
