It is usually caused by hemorrhoids or fissures, although it could also be a polyp, and could also be inflammatory bowel disease. Any blood in stool needs investigation. There is no such eff: No drink can have such a quick effect on your hemoglobin. It takes several days to make a amture red cell before it will increase your Hemoglobin level.
If you hemoglobin is as high as 19.5 Gms, you need to go back to your doctor who will likely repeat your blood test to confirm that you indeed have a probelm or not. Hemoglobin >18 grams is abnormal and it can be a sign of disease in your blood. ...Read more
