Be seen: See your regular doctor about this. Also see a chiropractor or craniosacral therapist...You may have a "kinked" place that is causing this. Look specifically for an upper cervical chiropractor (you can actually search that on the internet and see if there is one near you). Get checked: most likely ANS blockers (toxins, pathogens, allegens) are causing your symptoms. The base of the skull is the occiput. Need MRI: Brain Tumors are very rare. So, it is very unlikely that you have that. However, headaches is one of the most common presenting complaints of brain tumors and many new cases had headaches for months before anyone ordered the right test. Need more history: Sounds like this headache is worrying to you. Your brief description has some features that point toward and away from such diagnoses as migraine and hemicrania continua. Tumors are more likely to cause seizures and focal neurological symptoms than headaches, and when tumors do cause headaches, the headache often worsens with lying down. Head/ear pain: I think it may be trigeminal neuralgia. or variant thereof of neuralgia.. Sudden low BP: It sounds like your blood pressure is dropping briefly. When this happens, you will get dizzy, possibly get a headache and your brain can feel foggy from a brief lessening of oxygen. With the dry eyes as well, it sounds like you may be dehydrated. You are in a heat wave. Make sure you keep your fluids up. If it worsens, go to the er for IV replenishment. ...Read more
