Several causes: Well at 17, i would say that anxiety could play a role. If chest pain was cardiac certainly you would have had known this from prior physical exams by doc. Now, breathing pain could be viral or perhaps inflammatory such as in pneumonitis. Ramdom attacks must mean they come and go and resolve without treatment.
