Infants consolidate : sleep from 1-4 mos. of age. At a consistent bedtime, nurse your baby, wipe out her mouth with a soft cloth, read to her & cuddle, then put her on her back in her crib in her own room when she's drowsy, but awake, to learn to self-calm to sleep.
