Breast Shrinking During Pregnancy
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Usually: For most women the breast enlargement associated with pregnancy and lactation is temporary. Within 3 to 6 months after delivery (if not breastfeeding) the breasts are back to their normal prepregnancy state. For breastfeeding moms, the breasts generally return to normal by about 6 months after stopping nursing.
If you had undiagnosed breast cancer and then got pregnant, would the pregnancy hormones shrink the tumor?
NO: The very high hormone levels of pregnancy are a big risk factor for increased growth, and often, women with a breast cancer diagnosis have to deliver their babies early, so that they can have their evaluation for the cancer completed, or surgery done, and begin any additional treatments necessary.See 1 more doctor answer

Nothing specific: Usually the areola around the nipple darkens and the small white bumps get more prominent. Veins in the skin may become more pronounced. Some women will notice all of those in early pregnancy while others will not.
Have dry spots around and on breasts. Could this have something to do with the milk being produced during pregnancy?
Yes: Changes in hormonal levels cause many things including breast sensitivity.
Normal: You probably have more breast tissue on one side than the other. But since you are pregnant and will see an OB soon, they will feel your breast to make sure that nothing else is going on. Congratulations.
Lactation Start?: There is no definitive time that pre-lactation begins in a pregnancy; some women experience the onset of a unilateral or bilateral clear discharge as early as 13 weeks; others, as late as 32 weeks or beyond. Tho set of lactation is merely a sign that hormone levels that stimulate lactation have reached "operational" levels, and that you are rest to breast feed when the moment arrives!
My breast didn't grow at all during pregnancy. Most of my friends went up cup sizes. Is this because I don't have much breast tissue?
Possible: Growth of breast tissue depends on how many cells all responsive to the hormone available. Not to worry you can always augment to breast at a later time if you want to.
I have inverted nipples they come out only during cold or stimulation. I also hv saggy breasts. Is it normal? M a virgin. Will pregnancy correct this?
Normal: Normal to have inverted nipples. Common in women as well as men. Not sure what HV refers to but 'saggy' breasts could be due to size or normal genetics. If it's a cosmetic issue you could address it with a plastics doctor. Pregnancy will make your breasts fuller but generally with age and after pregnancy your breasts may develop stretch marks or lose more fat so might be worse, hard to say.
Post weight loss upper pole fullness of breasts gone. Age 23.will gaining weight reverse it? During pregnancy will the breasts fill in & become larger?
Probably, yes: Probably yes, as the breasts take on fat and glandular material to ready themselves for their designated function of future breast feeding.
Breast Size: This occurs in response to hormonal changes in the body.See 1 more doctor answer
