Induced lactation: Of course you can induce lactation! There are several protocols available. The key is to get a hospital grade breast pump and pump every 3-4 hours.

See your doc: Some psychiatric medication, antidepressants and atypical neuroleptic medications, rarely can increase prolactin, which can lead to in irregular periods, lactation, tender breasts and firm, enlarged nipples.
But you need a blood test to confirm elevated prolactin level and, if so, subsequent diagnostic radiology testing to confirm it is not from another cause.

Blood vessels?: Vascular area on ultrasound usually mean areas with increased blood flow, and sometimes mean the vessels themselves.

Since the patient is lactating, the breast is very metabolically active, and needs increased blood flow, so the blood vessels are larger.
