Breastfeeding?: It sounds as if you are breastfeeding? If so a clogged duct can present as a tender red area of the breast. The itchiness also concerns me for a yeast infection, especially if the nipple is involved. Try a warm compress on any red area tonight, be sure the baby is draining the area by compressing the milk ducts in that area. Possible scar pain: Yes, sometime healing tissue can cause soreness in the area but anyway you should watch also for recurrent infection. If it is too tender, red, swollen or with pus needs evaluation and most likely treatment with another antibiotic.
