Break Between Breaths
I've got a dry/tickling cough that's persistent enough that every breath I take can trigger it. What's the best thing I can do to break it?
It depends on why: you have the cough. If you cough every time you take a breath, then it is pretty serious. If you have bronchitis, you need to be seen by healthcare provider to get proper treatment. Some cough drops (e.g. Ricola) or cough syrup can help. If you cough because you have severe acid reflux, or cancer, or runny nose/allergies, then you should treat the underlying condition first. ...Read more
How do I break the habit of holding my breath while peeing I read a tweet now I get anxiety when I pee???
Erase the awareness: Our little blue planet has so many problems that we need not create new ones. It does not matter how a person breathes or doesn't breathe while peeing. Normal, healthy people are not aware of their breathing patterns while they are standing or sitting at the toilet, peeing. They just relax and pee. Psychologists and psychiatrists can offer "talk therapy." If too anxious, medication may be needed. ...Read more

It sounds like you are dealing with asthma and/or reflux disease. Asthma occurs when your parts of your lung (bronchioles)become inflammed and constrict. This is usually due to certain triggers such as cold air, exercise, allergens etc. The resultant symptoms are shortness of breath, wheezing, tightness in the chest. The symptoms you described in yuor post could definitely be due to asthma. To be sure you need a medical evaluation. Your doctor will likely prescribe an inhaler to help open up your airway.
As far as the pain you are having in your lungs and airway. This is a little more difficult to pinpoint a cause. Possibly acid reflux is responsible. Again, your doctor needs to evaluate , diagnose and treat you.
Best of luck. ...Read more
