Unrelated: Hi. Inclusion or exclusion of salt has no bearing on weight loss (unless food addiction involves salty foods!). There is no weight loss program I'm aware of that tells you to eat salt. I work out in the am, eat healthy, only drink water/tea. I wake up with a flat stomach but am extremely bloated as day goes on. Any idea why?
Weight Loss: I applaud you for eating healthy, for that is a great start. Be sure that in addition to healthy foods you are practicing portion control. Also, change up the types of exercise you are doing to lose weight. Cardio (running, biking, swimming) will help burn some fat while you exercise, but make sure to build muscle too. A few ideas: It might be genetic. Age contributes, too. Also, do you watch your sodium? Many healthy foods are high in sodium. Check labels. Max of 2000mg a day. Practice belly breathing can sometimes lower your blood pressure. Make sure you get enough sleep and not stressed out. Healthy vs '/calorie: Eating 'healthy" does not mean you are not overeating. 100 calories are 100 calories whether it was whole wheat bread or white bread. Calorie intact cannot be more than calories burned if you are wanting to lose weight.
