Brain tumor symptoms.? I have dull pressure. On left side top head and my left eye is foggy and. I feel pressure around that area?

Probably not: Although it's possible, what you describe doesn't cause alarm about brain tumors in my mind. Dull head pain and pressure where you describe is more likely something boring, like sinus congestion. When you say your eye is "foggy", do you mean you have trouble seeing? If yes, that is more concerning and you should see a doctor right away. Some eye problems can cause head pain and pressure. Read more

Neoplasms (Definition)

"tumor" literally translates as "mass", so even a fresh bruise could be called a "tumor". Doctors use the term "neoplasm" (tranlates literally as new growth) to describe tumors that are abnormal growths of cells. These may be benign or malignant; "malignant" = cancer. In everyday usage, we use "tumor" ...Read more

On the top part of my head (halfdollar size) I get a horrible/painful pressure that makes my right eye twitch uncontrollably. Could it be a brain tumor?

Unlikely!: The typical pain associated wih brain tumors is generalized, worse in the morning and with all maneuvers that increasing pressure in the brain such as bearing down, coughing or sneezing. However, most tumors do not follow this typical description. Your pain is non-specific and should be checked out to make sure it is not something serious.. Read more

I think I may have a brain tumor? I have mild eye pain on one side.

See your physician.: Mild eye pain can be from many different reasons some more significant than others. The wisest thing to do is to go to your primary physician or alternatively go to an ophthalmologist or optometrist to have your eyes examined. They will decide if further work-up is needed. Past week I have had pressure in back of my head along with vertigo, I am worried of a brain tumor 2 years ago I had a cat scan and EEG can back fine?

Likely not tumor: It depends on the frequency and severity of symptoms, but you might consider requesting your doctor to order an MRI brain with and without contrast (it provides better detail of the brain than does the ct). Read more

23yo female so scared I have a brain tumor just have a feeling of pressure at the top and side of my head. Doesn't get any worse no other symptoms?

Relax, see dr.: Brain tumors in your age group are not common. If the headache goes away with paracetamol and there are no neural symptoms like confusion, weakness, numbness, double vision, the headache is worse in the afternoon, and no nausea and vomiting, you can relax. Make an appointment with your doctor for a neurological exam and ask if you may need other tests done. Sometimes sertralene can cause headaches. Read more

Why do I have pain/pressure that feels like it is on the surface on the uppermost left/back of my head? It doesn't occur every time though. Brain tumor?

Why do I have pain/pressure that feels like it is on the surface on the uppermost left/back of my head? It doesn't occur every time though. Brain tumor?

Time for exam: Any new headache like this deserves a physician's office visit and full physical exam and perhaps a scan. The location of a headache correlates poorly with the actual cause. A surface-type headache makes me want to be sure there's not a spinal fluid leak. Good luck. Read more

Asking for a friend She wants to know if temple hurting and dizziness and eye pain are signs of brain tumor. I told her it was prolly a migraine?

Migraine: A migraine is a common type of headache that may occur with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, changes in vision, numbness/ tingling or sensitivity to light. In many people, a throbbing pain is felt only on one side of the head. Some people who get migraines have warning symptoms, called an aura, before the actual headache begins. Read more

I'm having constant frontal headaches associated with eye pain/eye strain. I've taken Tylenol, but doesn't help. I was recently diagnosed with glaucoma and I'm 29. Could there possibly be a misdiagnose and I could possibly have a brain tumor?

Maybe but: I doubt that you have a tumor. You can get it checked but the more likely cause is stress and the eye strain you mentioned. The glaucoma can give you eye pain. Has this been treated and is it severe? Do you have a lot of stress. If you have eye strain have you been checked for glasses? These are things I would check out first. Read more
