Does brain fog & feeling less joy and clarity from POTS syndrome ever go away, or is that the effect of damage done?Any1 have major neuro improvement?
Lots do very well: Brain fog, although possible in patients w/POTS, is certainly not an absolute & even if present is often due to other comorbid conditions such as depression & anxiety. You are also on medications which themselves can cause cognitive dysfunction and "feeling less joy"...apathy perhaps? These symptoms if present are not because of damage done by POTS. Not lifelong i hope: Vestibular neuritis can be caused by a virus and can resolve over time. Unfortunately when you experience this condition, it is quite incapacitating. It usually takes several months for the symptoms to improve depending upon the cause. Brain fog help: Brain fog can mean many things, eg, confusion, light-headedness, poor memory, fatigue.It's not a medical term or diagnosis. I have woozy feeling,brain fog and eyesight problems from 2 years now,I have had every test possible which are clear except low vitamin b12(227pg/ml).
Testing?: I know you said you have had every test but just to confirm - you should have a comprehensive dilated eye exam, MRI of the brain, glucose testing with glucose tolerance test, and a methyl malonic acid lab test which helps to clarify the B12 deficiency, as well as other CBC and consider heavy metal exposure screening.
