A medical condition in which there is an outpouching of the wall of the blood vessel that supplies the brain. The most serious consequence of this outpouching is that the wall is weakened and can rupture, leading to massive bleeding inside the brain.

Depends on size: Ct or mr angiograms are good screening tools, and surgeons are using cta to plan surgery instead of angiograms. If you have an aneurysm, there is a certain chance that it will grow over time. How fast it grows is not predictable. If you don't have an aneurysm, you should have your doctor look for other reasons for headaches. ...Read more
