Maybe: Orthodontics have not been shown in research studies to either cause or cure tmd's. Tmj problems are rarelly if ever a result of how the teeth fit together. It has been suggested by some researchers that a chnge in the bite relationship may cause some suseptable individuals to develope some TMJ problems but they tend to resolve on their own over time. ...Read more
