Tricky: At 16 the area grows. The tendons can be a bit loose. The popping is likely at the joints where the ribs connect to the center of the chest. Joints do this.it is like knuckles cracking, and of no significance.
Some families have abnormal bones/joints/tendons with a lot of crippling arthritis at very young age (bad). Also, tendons can be rough and give a low rub (not so bad). ...Read more
