How to tell if I have borderline personality disorder?

Consult psychiatrist: This can be a complex diagnosis, and I would not try to label myself or allow untrained others to label me this way. Instead, please consult with a mental health professional such as a psychiatrist or psychologist. Please understand that it may take more than one session for an evaluation of this nature. The doctor may need to review previous records, get psychological testing, etc.
