I have a bone spur in my wrist that is starting to tingle and hurt and has done this for a few days, do I need to go to the doctor?

Not necessarily.: Whatever's going on could have been irritated by recent trauma or repetitive movements (like typing). Had a bone spur removed & joint fused in my hand a year ago and it still isn't pain free. Think it was a cmc joint. Is this normal to have pain still?

See Hand surgeon: Considering your age, I am surprised that a cmc joint was fused unless you have had significant trauma or have some form of severe arthropathy. For ongoing pain, though, it would be best to see a hand surgeon, repeat x-rays, diagnose the problem and if indicated get some hand therapy to improve functionality of the hand. ...Read more

Numbness left hand middle to pinky. Bone spurs in neck and ddd in lower back.

Unclear: Numbness in hand from middle to pinky suggests ulnar nerve impingement. If bone spurs were related pattern would usually be different from this. However, a C8 root syndrome might produce this pattern. Try to draw a line around the area of numbness (including all parts that are numb - hand and arm). Show to doctor. EMG/NCV study could be helpful. ...Read more
