I broke my finger 13 yrs ago. X-rayed and had PT. Knuckle had a tiny piece of bone chipped off. Finger feels jammed and can't bend as far as others.
Be seen: Certainly if you had an injury 13 years ago and have had trouble with it since, it would seem unlikely it is going to get any better by simply giving it more time. I was hit on my right side of my rib cage 2 years ago is it possible to have a chipped bone sitting on a nerve i only have pain when i lay on my side?
I recently fell on my arm, and it has hurt for the past couple days. At what point should I suspect a broken or chipped bone?

It may still be a bad sprain but there are many types of "small" fractures (or breaks) that need attention or they may not heal properly. You should start with your primary doctor or with an orthopedist if you have seen one before. Good luck with your recovery! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
