Not certain: It sounds like there is a fluid collection in the skin behind the ear. Questions to ask yourself: is this soft? Does it move when you touch it? Is it painful or red? Probable node: Could be a lymph node or salivary gland tumor pushing the ear forward. If there is fever, tenderness pain and swelling behind the ear, hearing loss, ear drainage i would be concerned about infection in the mastoid bone which needs urgent assessment.
